Select your login ID and at first registration place a _f (female account) or _m (male account). When next you log in you must remove the _m or _f. 3. Create your character

In order to begin the stats well for your character, it is preferable to get information about the classes. To help you, consult informational sites such as Rate my server. A link to this site can be found on the left side of this and every page.

5. Now you're online

You will find yourself in the Training grounds. This is the place for every newcomer in Ragnarok. If you're completely lost and need explanations, talk to the NPCS, which will be there to assist you with the basic details of game play. But if you do not want to waste your time and feel that you will die of anticipation for killing your first poring, you can just as easily leave the training grounds. You may choose to enter any of our main cities, Prontera (most people are here), Temple Grounds (home of the GM Castle and not an option for the low rate beginners) or Gonryun a place which is special in tRo's history and also main city of the peaceful Terran faction.

Note: Training ground makes it possible for the beginner to perform a small search which will enable them to set out again with a small kit of survival, composed of items consumable (APPLE, milk, meat) and a little money. If you decide to jump training ground, you will not be able to acquire all of these items though you will still be given some money and a knif + cotton shirt. The options suggested to the beginner also make it possible to direct you in the choice of the class which you will live as in the world of tRo.

With the beginning of play, you have only of one knife and a cotton jacket. It thus will be necessary for you to improve your quite light equipment... The gameplay of Ragnarok functions as follows: to be able to buy what you need to improve your defense and abilities (plus look really nice), you must make money (zeny), by killing monsters. Logic you will say to me. But it's a little more subtle than that, since the monsters are not that which gives you money. It's the objects which these monsters drop (more commonly called "drops")... the more drops you gain, the more money you'll earn by reselling them to NPCs and fellow players depending on their usefullness. Monsters also often drop very nice equipment and items which will then be yours to keep or sell to players as you see fit.

As for the killing of the monsters, nothing's simpler: they are abundant with complete freedom in the plains of Rune Midgard. Choose the poring for example. Just point your cursor towards the creature (the cursor will change into sword, which means that the pointed element is killable) and click to see your character attacking. Be careful though, all the monsters of RO are not cute little defenseless blobs, some even have the annoying tendency to want to run after you and they can hurt quite badly. Of course by killing monsters, you gain experience points. This allows your character to gain levels and ultimately power and renown in the world of tRo.

Remember, this is a PvP server which means you can kill fellow players outside of town just as you can kill monsters. You'll find that levels and equipment are critical if you wish to attack a fellow player.
