Our unique and very rewarding mentor system allows players to truly dedicate themselves to the pursuit of server harmony, happiness and the advancement of their fellow players.

Anyone level 175 and up can become a mentor through a small item hunt quest followed by a simple test.

Once a mentor completes the initial requirements they will be awarded their basic Mentor Halo. When wearing this item you will be given the title of Mentor and in @who your name will show up with (Mentor) following. You will also show up in the @whogm list as the mentor halo grants you a GM level of 1 through 5 depending on your mentor level.

Mentors are expected to assist new and old players alike in advice and problem solving. Mentors are not expected to give assistance with items or leveling, how they help is all up to them.

Mentors have the option to sponsor fellow players and recieve bonus rewards when they're sponsored player wins an event. Sponsoring a player is simply an open agreement to dedicate the time and effort required to assist in the sponsored player's betterment. It is the sponsoring mentor's job to answer questions, point out ways to improve and work with their player in generally helping them advance as a player. The number of sponsored players any one Mentor can have is determined by Mentor level.

Mentors also have the ability to randomly host a variety of fun events. Mentors may earn spirits for these events if the participating players vote the event a success.

When a GM witnesses an act of mentorship they may award the mentor with mentor spirits. These can be traded in for rewards and also become mentor points which add up to allow the mentor to gain levels. The maximum mentor level is 5 but mentors level 5 continue to earn points.

In addition to special hats and wings mentors also recieve the ability to use certain commands as they advance in level. These commands include @who2, muting, jailing and broadcasting at level 5. Mentors who dedicate themselves to this program truly do become a part of the GM team in many ways. Aside from these rewards there are many fun options available to spend points on. Donator testing accounts, GM suits, aura use and you can also buy houses with your mentor spirits.

Mentors are also expected to attend monthly mentorship council meetings in order to discuss any mentor issues, give suggestions, learn new server info in order to better assist fellow players or be advised by the GM team on how they can be better mentors in the month to come. Each new level advancement also requires a vote by the GMs present and fellow mentors/players. This takes place at the Mentor Council Meeting for any mentor who has earned enough points to advance.

Once a Mentor has reached level 5 they become eligable to replace a full time GM when any of our GMs go on leave. Each member of our GM team must take a mandatory month of leave on a regular basis so each new month presents the level 5 Mentors with an opportunity to experience being a full GM. They will be given access to a level 50 GM account and are expected to perform all of the duties that would normally fall to the GM they're replacing. This includes events, regularly scheduled online time and attendance of GM meetings. While GMs earn GM points for their work, mentors may earn additional mentor spirits for their time spent as a full Mentor Master GM.

Our GM replacement is selected from the level 5 Mentors based on total points, activity in game and availability. In addition, no mentor may take on the roll of full GM two months in a row.
